Redmi new launch Redmi 8 will soon be launching in India with the Sony camera sensor, and it offers more in-camera features like edge detection and skin tone mapping, etc.
Xiaomi revealed it through its official Mi.com.
This new development came the day after the Manu Kumar Jain, Xiaomi India chief, confirmed that the launch of the new "Redmi 8".
The teasers of the upcoming latest smartphone suggested coming with 5,000mAh battery capacity.
This smartphone includes UBS Type-C Fast charging and some of the specifications unveiled on Google Play Console.
Camera department, Xiaomi Redmi 8, will be featured with the dual-camera setup, and the primary camera includes a 12-megapixel and an 8-megapixel secondary camera sensor. The selfie camera comes with 8-megapixel.
The highlight of this phone is the primary Sony camera sensor, Xiaomi claims this phone comes with Industry-Leading edge detection and the Skin tone mapping.
Xiaomi also teased this Redmi 8 will come with the most updated battery setup on this smartphone. The front design shows a waterdrop notch display and at the back Aura mirror design, similar to gradient finish.
The official Mi.com mentioned Redmi 8 would be a splash-resistant device. The company is expected to Redmi launch date on 9th October.
This phone will sport with 6.26-inch HD+ (720x1520 pixels) display with the 19:9 aspect ratio and 320 pixels per inch density. With the 3GB of Ram and 32GB of Storage and with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 an Octa-core processor.
The smartphone will run on custom ROM MIUI 10 and based on Android 9 Pie, and it'll be available in four color variant Ash, Blue, Green, and the Red.
