Flipkart now in Hindi, soon more languages expend

Flipkart announced the Hindi language for a better user experience platform. Flipkart says it'll help to engage the reach of 200 million new customers online. Soon Big Billion Days sale coming on Flipkart.

This interface has been in the testing phase and now it's been rolling out after intensive research.

This 'Hindi' interface will focus on the Tier-2 and Tier-3 towns from where the company targets to set next internet users are coming for online shopping. Flipkart expects 'Hindi' to take over outgrow English users by 2021.

Flipkart said, " The Hindi interface takes a holistic approach of understanding the better needs and requirements of the native customer language coming online".

According to industry research, 90% of new internet users in the country are native language speakers. It is important for companies to offers products that are familiarity. With the help of the Hindi interface, Flipkart will be able to reach users with more information and search for products in Hindi.

Flipkart has been announced that it is planning to launch several other Indian languages on its eCommerce site.

Kalyan Krishnamurthy, CEO of Flipkart. said "We have been deployed around 80-90% of our resources towards solving for Bharat with Hindi interface being one of the bigger catalysts in this transition. As language has no barriers, we believe this native language capability will play a significant role in the further adoption of an eCommerce site in the country".
